Celebrated every 10th November, the World Science Day for Peace and Development has been established by UNESCO in 2001.
This day brings together scientist and innovators to share knowledge about scientific discoveries and their role to sustainable development. In Rwanda, this event took place on 20th December 2016 at the Institute of Applied Sciences (INES/Ruhengeri) in Musanze district
The 2016 World Science Day for Peace and Development is dedicated to the theme “Celebrating Science Centres and Science Museums” .
During this day, both exhibition and sharing success stories took place. Center of Excellence in Biodiversity and Natural Resources Management (CoEB) attended the event.
